Have You Heard is a popular piece by the musical legend, Pat Metheny. In this arrangement Olin Johannessen basically creates a "mallet band" to recapture the exuberance of the original. Mallet players are accompanied by a rhythm section of bass guitar, drum set, and auxiliary percussion.
This is an upbeat and crowd-pleasing piece which allows for an extended solo section in the middle. It would be a great closer for any percussion ensemble concert, or a great way to highlight your percussion group during jazz ensemble concerts.
This piece comes with a full, bound score and includes all individual parts available for printing on the included CD-Rom.
