Five Petite Movements by Chris Roode is a collection of short percussion ensembles written for players with about a month or so of experience. In each ensemble, parts can be doubled, tripled, quadrupled, etc., to fit the size of your group.
Each ensemble highlights a different collection of instruments:
- I. Four Fun for Drum for four drums of different pitches
- II. Light Steel Heavy Mallet for four metallic instruments
- III. Tambourine Duel for four tambourines
- IV. Echo...(echo) for four differently-pitched percussion instruments
- V. Battery Blitz for basic orchestral battery instruments
