Originally an expressive work for solo marimba, Benjamin Finley's Evergreen has been artfully arranged by Luis Rivera into a fuller ensemble piece with a groovy character.
Marimbas hold down the fort with active runs, a percussionist drives the groove train in the back, and metallic keyboards emphasize the melody with longer tones and atmospheric effects.
This ensemble is for experienced musicians who easily adapt to shifting time signatures and timbral changes.
