Shine by Clif Walker is an aptly named intermediate percussion ensemble work that features a bright sonic texture with lots of metallic instruments that enrich the melodic content of the piece.
As this piece progresses, each player gets their moment in the spotlight, to take the lead in the group and showcase their playing. This is a beautiful work full of catchy melodies and beautiful sound layering that is also attainable for younger players new to the world of chamber music and percussion ensemble!
