Pure Imagination from the movie "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" is considered to be a classic piece of music, and it has been gorgeously arranged into a jazzy marimba solo by Alex Stopa. Nostalgic and new at the same time, this lovely solo would stand out in any recital.
Because of its jazz core, the chordal structure of this tune is quite complex and the phrasings require tons of musicality; this is not a piece for the beginner. To keep things fresh, some surprising harmonic turns await the player and the audience.
