Waterfall by Dustin Schulze is a lush marimba solo that is influenced by nature and natural themes. This piece maintains a constant stream of sixteenth notes that flow up and down in dynamic level, designed to invoke imagery of water.
Throughout the piece, the music transitions between being calm and smooth, to being much faster and more chaotic, simulating textures of a waterfall. This marimba solo is challenging, and will work well on any solo recital!
