Teardrop by Gioachino Rossini is a beautiful piece originally for double bass, arranged here by Brian Slawson for solo vibraphone. It gives performers a wonderful opportunity to focus on their tone, phrasing, and musical shaping, with the notes and dynamics serving only as a starting point.
