The Grover Pro Wind Gong Mallet is specifically designed to get a full, pure sound out of a gong or tam-tam. They're especially useful when a clear tone is needed, such as when pitched gongs are used in a more up-front way, as opposed to just a sound effect.
They feature a 2 3/4" diameter head with a 5/8" lightweight aluminum handle and a rubber radial core.
