The Meinl VivaRhythm axon is a great solution to the typical problem of needing to be hunched over while playing the cajon. The axon brings the playing surface closer to the player, allowing you to play it from an upright, seated position.
The playing surface is made from a dark, striped onyx to contrast the bright birch of the resonating body, and the sound hole at the front allows for maximum sound projection. The axon is specifically designed for deep, rich bass tones but still allows for the cutting snare slaps associated with the cajon.
