The Meinl Long Wooden Waterfall uses its myriad of wooden shells to effectively mimic the sound of a rushing waterfall. Traditionally these instruments are made of seed pods, but those are brittle and break easily. These wooden replicas are much stronger!
The wooden waterfall has a warm, soft tone that blends well with everything and won't overpower other instruments in a live or studio setting.
