Meinl Free Ride Bongos feature a connector between the macho (small) and hembra (large) heads that allows the shells to ring freely, as opposed to traditional block connectors which are screwed directly into the shells.
WB500 Woodcraft bongos are made from premium American White Ash, and include lots of high-end features: the Free Ride Suspension System, chrome-plated hardware, 8mm lugs for cranked tuning, traditional rims for maximum volume (4mm), and hand-selected cow skin heads. Included as well: an accessory pouch, tune-up oil, and an L-shaped tuning key.
