The Wei-Chen Lin Series from IP is wrapped with warm, blended yarn that is designed to mitigate the attack sound and coax out a very deep, warm sound steeped in the fundamental pitch. These mallets feel great to play with - the rubber cores provide all the articulation you could need, while avoiding the "pop" on contact.
